In the creative departments of America’s ad agencies, minorities are woefully underrepresented. Advertising campaigns are mostly conceived and produced by groups of people as homogenous as the board of directors of the local country club.
This is not only wrong — it’s just plain stupid and makes no business sense at all. A mostly white-bread industry doesn’t know how to reach the multicultural American audience.
So, Miami Ad School has taken matters into our own hands.
We’re pledging—on an annual basis—$200,000 in scholarships for creative minority students to attend Miami Ad School. Now is the perfect time to start your career in Art Direction, Copywriting, Design or Photography and Video. There are 20 tuition scholarships available in the amount of $10,000.
Scholarship Application Deadlines: February 1st & August 1st.
You must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident to qualify. Winners will be notified two weeks after the application deadline. You may attend school in one of our U.S. locations: Atlanta, Miami, New York or San Francisco. You’ll get all the details when you download the scholarship application.
