Miami Ad School and Portfolio Center Impress in Graphis New Talent Annual
The Top Design Schools Shine Brightly in the 2016 Edition with 166 Awards
Miami Ad School and Portfolio Center proved the benefits of collaboration with a stellar showing in the 2016 Graphis New Talent Annual. Portfolio Center students won over five times as many awards as last year. Here’s a small selection of the winners:
Platinum, Sophia Vazquez
Gold; Sudarshan Waghmare
Platinum; Rob Hurst.
Gold, Britney Kidd
Platinum, Soham Chatterjee
Gold, Begona Mas, Frank Garcia and Giulia Magaldi
Miami Ad School students are the most awarded in the world. This is important because student awards are an integral part of the placement process, providing agencies and other firms a sort of “peer review” of a graduate’s abilities. Massive success in competitions is yet another thing that sets our graduates apart. That’s why Miami Ad School invests in entering student work in competitions, totaling over $100K last year alone. Making sure our students have the best opportunity to be recognized by awards competitions, regardless of personal financial resources (entry fees can be steep), is simply part of the educational and placement processes that have made our graduates so wildly successful in the industry at-large.
Congratulations to all the winners, and a special shoutout to our Portfolio Center family. We look forward to more awesome work in the months and years to come.
